Eightspace is a small dedicated group of people that favour the creative re-imagining and landscaping of school spaces and the construction of hand crafted,site specific elements made from sympathetic durable and natural materials.

Eightspace has extensive experience across the full education spectrum from preschools to highschools, with a particular interest in special educational needs.

We design, build and maintain exciting outdoor play and learning spaces for schools, local authorities, housing schemes and charities.

Working together a shared vision of the real potential of the schools spaces can then evolve. A constructive and learning relationship is nurtured throughout every stage of the development process, from planning and building to the use and maintenance of the new grounds.

Students and staff are encouraged to question, influence and become involved at every exciting stage.

How we get there

With a broad overview of the entire grounds, the often ad-hock development history of a school is taken into account. Looking equally at the in demand busy spaces as well as the often overlooked,usually enticing, neglected spaces.

Importantly, a unifying design is developed to allow every multiple element to compliment each other and flow together. The result is a sustainable, inspiring, unique environment built within a nurturing partnership to meet the communities current and future aspirations.
